"Absolutely beautiful property. Very nice rooms and very clean. However, the beach closing at 7pm, the lack of options at the buffet and the front desk seemingly not caring about requests made this a one and done place to go."

"Everything went well except sink in the bathroom did not flow out properly and although reported, no attempt was made to have it fixed. The steak house dinner was like a production line. It was kind of a rush where my spouse finished before and they took his plate making me feel like I should hurry to finish. Overall the stay was good. The nightly entertainment was very good."

"I rarely leave reviews like this, but my experience at Hotel Riu Negril was extremely concerning. I checked in April 9 and had to leave early on April 11 (scheduled stay was until April 13) due to unacceptable conditions affecting my health and safety. I have asthma, and the room was very stuffy with cobwebs, dirty floors, and poor air quality. The AC was not cooling properly and felt warm, making the room hot and uncomfortable at night. I was sweating while sleeping and unable to rest properly. Housekeeping was inconsistent and poor. After reporting issues, cleaning was delayed, and even basic cleanliness was not maintained properly. The dining area was also unsafe. I saw bird droppings on chairs where guests sit and eat, and staff ignored it even after being informed. Another guest was about to sit in it before noticing. On top of that, I was constantly bitten by sand flies, leaving multiple bites and making my stay very uncomfortable. The noise level was also disruptive due to doors slamming from nearby rooms, which repeatedly woke me up at night. I have requested a refund for the unused portion of my stay and have received no response so far. I am sharing this so management understands this is a serious issue—not just inconvenience, but health, cleanliness, and safety concerns that need immediate attention."

"Couples Swept Away Negril has EVERYTHING you need for the perfect getaway. When you arrive at (MBJ) Sangster International Airport, there is a Couples lounge for guests, with free cocktails, while you wait for your shuttle ride (included) to paradise! Once you arrive, you are greeted by the most kind staff, they will make sure you have everything you need. There are many activities included, from a sunset catamaran cruise, swimming through caves, snorkeling, scuba, paddle boards, and alot more. There are tiki bars along Couples stretch of the famous 7 mile white sand beach. There are also 2 pools, one with a swim up bar and also 3 hot tubs on the property. The food is amazing! Whether it was breakfast, lunch or a fancy dinner. Couples Swept Away has us wanting to come back again, again and again 🙌 "
