「We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The property is beautiful, very well maintained, and has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The staff were friendly, and the facilities were excellent. The breakfast buffet deserves special mention. There was an impressive variety of fresh and delicious options every morning, so there was something for everyone. Dinner was a bit more difficult. While the hotel itself offers several dining options, we were hoping to find more authentic Portuguese...

「We had a great week here. Family friendly resort, nice staff and great facilities. Brilliant pools and lovely beach. Buganvilla & Cafeteria restaurants were excellent both with a lovely setting. The resort is very good value overall. The resort feels safe and secure and has a relaxed feel to it. Slides only for young kids but the pools are great. Plenty of water parks nearby for more slide action. Thankyou Alfagar, we will be back!」

「Overall the hotel was beautiful, though they need a little updating. We had informed the front desk that our phone was not working at all. Maintenance came and was making me flush the toilet 3 times to “reboot the line” I did so and still did not work so I asked for him to return tomorrow cause I saw no point in just flushing the toilet for the phone to work again. Also there was spiders on the balcony.」

As for the staff, the front desk staff was generally distant and, at times, even unfriendly; however, the staff in the lounge and dining room during breakfast was always friendly, helpful, and efficient. The breakfast was varied and of good quality.」

「Great location, close to everything I needed. Unfortunately, the sound isolation is extremely poor, it genuinely feels like you’re sleeping outside. If you’re a light sleeper, this will be an issue.」
