「It was alright. It’s like you’re camping with a safe place to stay. You should bring your own firewood otherwise they will charge you. But there is a lot of sticks and wood laying around you can use if you pick it up yourself. The power went out so we didnt have lights at night, but it was an adventure. 「The view is to die for so ultimately that’s really what the three stars is for the view the wilderness everything about that area is beautiful. That being said the mountain Lodge at least from my visit everything was broken. The elevator the steamer room, the sauna it was kind of a bummer. Yeah it was early in the season and at least my understanding a new company has taken over the place, but even my AC in my room didn’t work. The staff seem so unwilling and unhelpful. I didn’t even bring it...

「Don’t be fooled by the location you have to drive through an industrial area but once you get to the lodge it’s over looking the river very peaceful and quiet. You’re only 5 minutes from downtown Golden. Very friendly staff they went above and beyond of being helpful. Our room was a bit small but very clean bedding and towels were new . The lobby was spotless. I would highly recommend the Lodge a Lantern!」
