"The fridge would turn off at the slightest movement of the plug so it might be due for a replacement soon. We requested the staff to come by to see it. They said they'd be here in 10 minutes but after 20 min, they did not arrive. So we had to call again the second time and delay our dinner. Also the TV did not work so the staff had to teach us how to use it. They don't have a blowdryer already inside the hotel; you have to request it which was not a problem. Other than these issues, our stay there was clean and comfortable."
"The room was clean, AC worked great, breakfast was satisfactory. Really happy overall with our visit, the hotel itself is a bit dated but it didn’t distract from our stay."
"Rooms were neat and clean. Breakfast was amazing. The only thing they could do better is to let us check in early, at least 2 pm, in an urgent situation. Everything else was good."
"Great, clean and affordable place to stay in Golden while we explored the area. Close to kicking horse, golden skybridge, cedar lake, and lots of restaurants. Pool and hot tub were clean and nice way to relax. The restaurant had a really tasty menu and lovely staff but it is expensive, although everything else in the area was as well."
"The meals were very tasty and the community tables enjoyable. We met many nice people with interesting stories and good tips on hikes at our table, which changed up during our 3 day stay as guests came and went. It was fun running into table mates here and there. The Thursday talk in the living room, by a very funny and knowlegeable guy on local birds, was a treat. Interesting cocktails at the little bar and tasty snacks to go with it. Not having WiFi exept at "the shed' was just fine! The lake and mountains are of course spectacular. The mosquitoes on the hike to the falls were equally spectacular....bring repellant!"
