"The pools were great and excellent for enjoying with family and young children. Overall the hotel amenities were very good, the staff was excellent and always looking to help and provide a very enjoyable experience. The main buffet restaurant always had great quality varied food options. We also tried 2 of the dinner restaurants and the food was good but the service was less efficient and poorer than in the main buffet restaurant since they had less servers staffing those restaurants. Our main issue was our room, a Junior Suite Ocean View Double. The door to the room was on the backside of the hotel facing the busy highway and the services side of the hotel in tower 4 so it was very noisy for the road and garbage trucks/services/main AC room for the hotel. The room’s furniture was also dated and not in the best condition or cleanliness. Both beds were unstable and we had several other issues with the room that we reported that the staff helped resolve. We would certainly stay in the hotel again and would recommend it, but would look to stay in a different part of the hotel that also offers a room in better condition. "

"First impressions were not great. Lobby was closed for construction, as was the breakfast restaurant. Check-in is done in a small conference room, and there was a hard sell for timeshares first thing (plus a follow-up call!). Room had a very strong musty/mildew smell coming out of the AC vents that dissipated a bit, but was still not something we’ve experienced at other resorts in this price range. The property itself just overall felt older than its age—peeling paint in the pools, decay on the patios, etc. Food was overall fine but not as many options (especially for Mexican food!) as we’d have liked. On the plus side, the number of pools and amount of lounger space was great, and all the staff was very attentive, respectful, polite and friendly. "

"Want to start off my saying the staff at this resort is top notch .. everyone was very friendly , most would remember your name . Pool - older but never had to fight for a chair , clean .entertainment staff was energetic , hospitable and amazing .. top mentions to Carlos , Carmen , Norma but all were great ! Room - LOVED my marina view which I didn’t think I would enjoy versus ocean but it was incredible .,the first resort the AC was almost Too cold . Food - well done for AI .. the servers in the restaurant all hustled their butts off to make each meal perfect . Food was good with many options . I just wish churros were available everyday !! Suggestions - please invest in updating the fitness center .. much , much too small- any more than 4 people and were tripping over each other and dumbells were always in use and it was busy everyday .. make the facility twice as big , two complete dumbbell racks are needed along with new machines . ( leg machine and cables were the only updated pieces ) Also a night time or really early snack shack would be great for grabbing something before breakfast opens at 7 for catching early flights or those who wake up really early .. "

"It was a great experience, and all the staff were very helpful. There are 6–7 pools in total, and one of them has a unique red stone design, which was very impressive. This resort is very kid-friendly, and the food was excellent. The spa was outstanding — very affordable for the quality of service provided, and honestly, I had never experienced such good service before. I would definitely go back and stay at this resort again because the staff, food, and overall service were amazing. They also have night shows that are enjoyable for both kids and adults. Another thing I appreciated was that the staff were not pushy about tips. "

"We booked an all-inclusive through expedia. Flight was cancelled the morning we were to leave. We’re left hanging with no room and neither expedia or the hotel offered us a room. Had to pay out of pocket. We spent over & above with spa packages & meals throughout the week. Hotel couldnt even give any discount & soaked us to stay one more night for next flight out. Very disappointed. Food was mediocre at best as well. Would never stay again. "
