"The room was great. Comfortable and clean.
There are free water bottles in the room but no free coffee.
The location prior to departure is unmatched, since the hotel is connected directly to Terminal 1."
"Best hotel experience I have had in Mexico: beautiful building right in the heart of the capital city and the country, magnificent view from the terrace, and most helpful staff.
Breakfast was not great, but there are excellent cafes close by (Cafe de Tacuba, Cafe Popular, for instance).
Our room was super clean, comfortable, and spacious even if it was not one of the suites facing zócalo, which must be spectacular but certainly well above my means.
All in all, I highly and totally recommend this breathtaking hotel."
Hampton Inn & Suites Mexico City - Centro Historico
8/10 Good
"The hotel offers free washer dryer. However, there are only two machines for washing and two for drying, and one washing machine was broken. Initially it was hard to find the right time to wash clothes. After returning for the 4th time, the machines we're finally available for use. The breakfast is lacking! Not a good variety or flavor."
"The hotel itself was good, but the room was so noisy that I couldn't sleep without noise-canceling headphones. Every night, there was loud music and drumming from the cathedral area that continued until 2:00 or 3:00 AM. Additionally, there was constant noise from the lobby that lasted until midnight. It was unacceptable. I was also disappointed to find no tissues provided in the room, which was quite inconvenient."
"Our stay at the Historicó Central Hotel in Mexico City was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcomed and cared for. Everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and accommodating throughout our entire stay.
The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. Every morning we enjoyed the fresh breakfast, which had a great variety and was always delicious. One of our favorite touches was the coffee bar and snack section — having complimentary snacks, drinks, beer, coffee, and refreshments available throughout the day made the experience feel extra special.
The location was perfect, just steps away from the Zócalo and so many historic attractions, making it easy to explore the city. We were also celebrating my son’s graduation during our visit, and the hotel staff went above and beyond to make it memorable by surprising us with balloons and elegant chocolates in the room. It was such a thoughtful gesture that truly meant a lot to our family.
We also appreciated the daily touches like cold bottled water and fresh apples always available for guests. Every detail reflected the hotel’s commitment to hospitality and guest comfort.
I highly recommend Histórico Central Hotel to anyone visiting Mexico City. It combines outstanding service, an unbeatable location, and thoughtful amenities that make you feel right at home. We will definitely return!"
