「This hotel has ruined me for all other hotels! This boutique hotel was a peak experience for our stay in Mexico City. It is located on a lovely, quiet street, only about a 10 minute walk to the historic city center sights of the Cathedral, the Zocalo, and Templo Mayor. The surrounding streets are pulsing with foot traffic and small shops. It is not tourist territory and it feels very safe, even as night falls. The hotel itself is gorgeous architecturally.」

「Ha sido uno de los mejores alojamientos en los que hemos estado en CDMX. Todas las amenidades y atenciones le dan un plus que no tienen otros hoteles. Cómo siempre, la atención a los detalles hace la diferencia. La ubicación es inmejorable, suficientemente cerca del centro histórico para ir a pie, pero no tan cerca como para padecer por el bullicio de la gente. 「My son and I had a wonderful week-long stay at Umbral in the Historic Center of CDMX. The property was well situated, right in the heart of the Historic Center, just blocks from the Cathedral so very convenient. Our room was spacious and very clean. The rooftop restaurant was lovely and the breakfast was delicious. The entire staff at the Umbral was so helpful and friendly - they made us feel incredibly welcome and they were very accommodating with any questions or requests we had. 」

「Habitación bien pero hoy dejamos el equipaje encargado después del check out. Regresamos con prisa y no revisé el equipaje, llegando a casa no tengo mi batería extraible conmigo. Estoy muy molesto ya que no es la primera vez que me hospedo y pasar por esto es muy decepcionante. No sé quién fue, pero sospecho del que entregó recepción en la mañana, aparte que apestaba a alcohol. Deberían de tener más cuidado y no dejar que gente en ese estado esté atendiendo. No sé si vuelva con ustedes. Que...

「I had a very disappointing experience with the front desk staff. The woman assisting us was extremely rude and unprofessional from the moment we arrived. What made the situation worse was an inappropriate comment she made implying that we didn’t have the money to pay. That kind of assumption is not only disrespectful, but completely unacceptable in any customer service setting. There was no reason for us to be treated that way, and it made the entire experience uncomfortable and frustrating....

「The apartment was fine. 2bd, 2 bath in good condition. Nelson who is staff was excellent, very attentive and super helpful. The issue is the noise. Very difficult to sleep, the window pane is thin and you can hear everything happening in the street. You would have motorcycles passing by at all hours of the night and would wake you up because of the exhaust, and then they would rev the engine. It was difficult to get a good night sleep every night. 」
