We love Pagosa Springs. The riverwalk is sooo nice. We usually enjoy the free hot springs along the river, though the resort is exceptionally nice. The shops along the main street are lovely. The people are friendly, and it feels safe.

Had the most delicious coffee and muffin in my life at the local coffee spot (Root House Coffee) and relaxed in the Hippy Dip Hot Springs. Wonderful shops and restaurants just a hop skip and a jump from the hotel.

Try Kip's Grill for dinner. The new wine bar, Cork and Board was a great stop too. And obviously check out the hot springs. The river walk is a great as well.

Visiting the hot springs is a must, though they have inflated the price of admission considerably since my last visit. The way of the world, I suppose.

"I really enjoyed my stay at the Nightingale motel. It’s a modern cabin vibe, which I loved! The room was super clean and comfortable and the customer service was attentive. There’s a really good restaurant right next to the motel literally just walking out of your room; you have to have one of their burgers they are delicious. There is not much light during the nighttime so just keep that in mind. Def recommend if you want something more affordable than the resort and it is only about 2 mins from the Hot Springs. Nice town for a weekend getaway. "
