"The location was great, the room was large size and had all the amenities needed - in particular the new bathrooms were fantastic. The only downside was that the Wifi did not work, which could have been due to my room location (11) being towards the pool end with limited connection? I had enough mobile data so it wasn't an issue. Overall I would stay there again. "

"Was pleasantly surprised with the room (104) - recently renovated with modern touches which was very nice. The exterior is dated and the parking situation is terrible. The hotel is truly in close proximity to the beach and everything."

"Room was nice and clean for our family of 4 (2 teens). The front desk and cafe staff were wonderful and made our stay sweeter, and we appreciated the complimentary beach chairs. Property is not brand new but is well kept and quaint, and location was great for both walking places as well as hopping in the car to see the universities, La Jolla, the Midway - pretty central to everything. Would stay here again! "

"Great location. Air conditioning in the queen suite takes a long time to impact the bedroom and the temperature at the thermostat never seemed to accurately reflect what I felt in the bedroom and and as result, it was hard to get a comfortable sleeping temperature. Also, walls are beyond paper thin and on my first night, two guests in the room next to me decided to have a conversation between 3-4am and it almost sounded like they were in the room with me and as a result, I got very little sleep that night."

"The property grounds were everything we expected and what was stated in the overview. Our particular unit, did not have any extras for travelers. It would have been nice to have had beach chairs or an umbrella or anything. We know other units offered these extras, however, ours was extremely basic."
