Perfect Way to Enjoy Disney World

Looking for perfect compliment to your ultimate Disney World experience? Look no further than the Wilderness Lodge Villas. Not only are the rooms cozy and comfortable but the rustic atmosphere is spot on. After a long day at the Magic Kingdom, there is no better experience than taking the boat back to the lodge, especially at night. You can either recharge your batteries and go back, or you can enjoy all the amenities and atmosphere of the lodge. The only negative was that the food selection at the WL was not stellar. My wife, son and I stayed in a one bedroom villa and felt like we had plenty of room. Would certainly feel crowded with more than four in the one bedroom villa.

The morning we left, while sitting in the room enjoying coffee, I hear a clicking sound and look over to where the coffee maker was plugged in…to see black SMOKE coming from the outlet. I unplugged it, and then a FLAME shot out of the outlet. I went down to inform the front desk and I was BRUSHED ASIDE like no big deal! I beg to differ! That could have been a DISASTROUS situation if I had been sitting outside on the balcony and didn’t unplug the coffee maker!!!! The TV also was not working properly…meaning, the only channel that had any volume was the channel that showed Disney park times!! I’m also not sure that we were given a room facing the lot where the dirty linens are left for pickup because I booked thru Expedia!!!

Boulder Ridge could use some upgrades, but room was very clean, quiet, and we loved first floor access to Disney buses, pool, and hotel lobby/store. The pool and hot tub were very nice and we used every day. We love the Wilderness Lodge area ambience, and was beautifully decorated for Christmas

Wonderful Disney Vacay

The resort is beautiful and the staff are very friendly. The activities at the pool was great for the kids (games/music). The room was spacious in the villas. Great for large family. Only negative was our bed was very uncomfortable but luckily we were hardly in the room.

While the property was typical Disney excellence in terms of cleanliness and food options , the room location in comparison to the location of the elevators, and ice machine was quite cumbersome. I must also add ,having to pay to park my vehicle ( a per night fee ) was also a bit much.

The room was not that clean. The shower would not stay hot, kept going cold. They were doing roof construction on the roof starting at 8am after I ran the Disney 5K and was up at 3:30am....I was excited for a hot shower and a nap....that did not happen. Very disappointed in this property.

I stayed in the villas, so my room had a microwave, stove, oven, toaster, dishwasher, washer, dryer, vacuum and broom. 2 pools Main restaurant served delicious BBQ in very large potions. Small, but fun arcades. Nice fitness room

Boulder Ridge could be a nice location

We could not get connecting rooms. If you are at the end of the hall it is a VERY long walk to elevator. Room furnishings average. Good size for 2 adults and up to 3 kids. View from our balcony was dirty laundry bins. And maintenance area.

Absolutely amazing! We were able to check in online. We arrived to the resort at noon, four hours before our scheduled check in. Shortly after noon, we received a text telling us our room was ready and we could proceed directly to it! Top notch from start to finish!!!

My favorite Disney resort

By far my favorite Disney resort. Beautiful lobby. Peaceful setting on the lake. Easiest transport to Magic Kingdom on short direct boat ride to front entrance. 2 great pools the kids loved. Outdoor bar with tv's and beers on tap. Less hectic than Grand Floridian & do not have to mess with crowded monorail. Highly recommended.

Great Place to Stay

We stayed at the Boulder Ridge Villas and loved it. The hotel is beautiful, room spacious and well stocked, location perfect for easy access to Magic Kingdom and the pools and restaurants were great. We have stayed at almost all of the Resort hotels and this is our new favorite!!!

The hotel was lovely and the staff was very accommodating. The room was a great size, but I would just caution that if staying in a one-bedroom villa, they put you in the Disney Vacation Club section, which is always sort of off to the side and not a part of the main hotel. So not as convenient.

Great theme

We loved our stay at the resort. It was a less than 10 minute ride on the ferry to the Magic Kingdom. The theme is wonderful and we felt away from it all when we were onsite. Although there was construction, it did not bother us.

Great Place for Family or Just Two

Had a wonderful time at The Villas at Wilderness Lodge with my family of five. We had a gear double room, pool was awesome, and location was perfect. Great place to stay for a few days or a week.
