「The hotel’s location is great, not far from main street. They also offer a free Shuttle bus to take customers to the busiest area in town, so, you don’t have to worry about parking ! We reserved a water view room. It had two big windows , one of the curtain is broken, and they said they are out of batteries, so can not fix it during our stay, so we had to keep it closed all the time. 「We enjoyed a restful stay at the Francis Malbone house this past weekend! It was great to be in the heart of Newport, close to so many restaurants and shops. But once we entered, the peace and quiet we experienced was lovely and we forgot we were so close to everything else. Breakfast was amazing and having some delicious snacks at afternoon tea was also a nice treat. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this spot and hope to visit again another time!」

「The Mill Street Inn was a unique spot with a great location, a few minutes walk to Bellevue or Thames Streets. Our room was more like a suite, had a separate living room and a bedroom. Amenities were great, and there was breakfast that you ordered the night before that they delivered at the time of your choosing. Staff couldn’t be friendlier, especially Lori who seemed to know everything about Newport as a lifelong resident. Would definitely go back!」

「The hotel room was very nice especially if you’re staying a few days. We were only there one night and didn’t have the opportunity to use all of the amenities. Tim at the front desk was very nice nd informative. The location is perfect and the parking was convenient. I would been happier if the bathroom counter was larger and if there was better lighting in the bedroom. We will definitely consider staying at the NBCR again.」

「Stayed here before but never again. Hotel is sprawling and our room was at the farthest end of the hallway. Stairs in hallway could not be avoided and moving luggage was a challenge. Freshly renovated but heavy barn door at bathroom could not be moved one inch. Door into room did not close properly and maid left room open after cleaning room. Missed cleaning one day and staff was rude when we asked that the room be cleaned. Building is being refurbished and we had no hot water for two...
