「It was very quiet due to the off season time and the staff was very helpful. They let us keep our bikes in our room so we didn't have to load them on our vehicle each time. Perry is a trailhead where two bike trails meet so it was great to just ride to the room, relax and start another trail the next day. We had a little trouble with our room key but that was minor. If we head back to the Raccoon River Valley Trail or High Trestle Bridge Trail, we'll check out the Super 8 again!」

「Our favorite place to stay in Ames! The location can’t be beat. But that wouldn’t mean much if it weren’t also clean, with good food and amenities, nice employees, and chill atmosphere. I’ve neglected to give such a great review before because it can be full on busy weekends and we’ve had to go to our 2nd fave place (Gateway), but our last ISU kid is about to graduate, so we can share the secret now. Plan ahead and return to your favorite rooms again and again. 」

「Plenty of parking on a well lighted lot. Room was good. Pool was closed for maintenance. No complimentary breakfast but did have coffee and juice. Staff was excellent. Room and hallways were clean. I would definately stay there again.」

「Really I loved my room and there were no unexpected charges at check in (which I was fearful of on a tight budget). Staff were kind and helpful. I felt safe and comfortable, and I needed that because I'd just been put on antibiotics that morning for a severe tooth infection. Breakfast was very limited, but they did have it. Overall, I would highly recommend it.」
