No personal at the front desk. Done by a person in Florida, over a kaiso type check in. Never saw a person at the hotel. Continental Breakfast filled once, not refilled or checked. Very clean rooms. Bathroom door is too large and did not close. $100 deposit is not necessary.

I noted that the smoke alarm was missing from the room, just wires dangling from the ceiling. The management seems well intentioned but overwhelmed. I thought there was supposed to be a breakfast offered, but didn’t track it down. Outside of the building was not well cared for. I WAS allowed to check in early and I was grateful!! As noted before, no fire alarm in the room.

There was room for about 2 people in the lobby. There was 1 worker that was busy so we checked in with a virtual agent- this was handy and worked well. Our room had random stuff like a used baby bottle in the corner and 5 felt pad circles right in the middle of the mirror. There were smoke smells and other smells around the room/halls. The breakfast was the worst part…. The peanut and butter and jelly was so hard I couldn’t smear it with my knife. The bread was expired and hard (probably frozen because wasn’t moldy). Nothing else looked edible. Coffee and juice machines were turned off. Two small tables to eat at because the third one was used for storage of cups.

Breakfast was so-so. The waffles did not fully cook and the apple juice had little bugs in it. The ice machine only worked part of the time. We did NOT like the virtual check in. It was hard to understand and it really takes away that personal, face to face experience! Other than than that the room was clean and the hotel was nice and quiet.
