Front desk staff were incredibly nice and helpful. The tvs weren’t working when I got there and one of the elevators were down. When I left, both elevators were down. The room was very cute but the hallways were dimly lit and a little creepy, but overall a good budget option.

The staff at the Moxy Oakland, were friendly, extremely helpful, and hard working! There were quite a few appliances that needed repair, including an elevator, and the overall worn out look of the Moxy needed updating. The wonderful staff members deserve better.

This place disappoints all around. Staff is rude and unhelpful. Rooms and hotel in general are run down and old. I am from Oakland and moved recently. Came to visit and would never stay here again. Rooms are tiny. Floors are cheap vinyl. Hair all over the bathroom. Halls and walls were covered in carpet

Good clean place for a short stay. Hotel is a bit unorthodox in some ways but I like it. Rooms are New York style, small but clean, comfortable and well organized. Staff is friendly. The neighborhood is what it is, but if you open your eyes and mind, downtown Oakland is just fine. There are really great restaurants close by.
