"Just very friendly people. Property is clean, nicely appointed and conveniently located to SF, Berkeley and of course Oakland/Emeryville. Parking is easy in and out, check in is fast and efficient. I’ve stayed here now 3 nights in last month for visits to my son who is at UC Berkeley. Convenient and more affordable generally than Berkeley’s limited offerings."

"This place looks a little dated but it is so clean I was very impressed. If the furniture was updated it would have been a 5 Star easily. Truly not covering any flaws to hide its age. Parking was included. On the days I stayed plenty was available. Very convenient area with plenty of shops in all directions. Staff was very friendly. Simple basic breakfast. Coffee tea toast etc. Definitely a go to place I will be using."
