"The place is an older motor lodge but the rooms have been upgraded and were clean. Great location and safe area "

"The rooms were clean. The carpet was stained and its dullness allowed the age to become more apparent. The tub had a steady loud drip, wall paper was peeling back, no refrigerator in our room, and water stains on the wall from apparent water leaks. We did however have a nice view on our balcony of the River and Jax. House keeping was very accommodating unlike the front desk staff. The breakfast was very undesirable and the kitchen had a difficult time keeping the buffet food filled. Quite honestly, We felt we overpaid for our stay....should have read previous reviews. Not ALL Double Trees are the same !!"

"Great staff. Great amenities. The pool is awesome. The on site restaurant and bar were great. The view from the room was perfect, watched the sunrise from the balcony in the morning. Slept with the door open to hear the sound of the ocean waves crashing all night. Would definately recommend. "

"We loved this resort! Our 5th floor room facing the ocean was perfect. Loved the little balcony with 2 chairs. The towels were especially nice and thick! The pool/area was very clean and we watched how meticulous the staff was in getting it prepared every morning. The Tiki bar was so fun! Donna was friendly and helpful. We ate in the dining room the first night and the food was good. The BEACH! It is awesome! "

"The room was big but, the floor was filthy. I wiped up some water that fell on the floor and the paper was black. That floor had not been mopped in weeks. The sofa bed had crumbs all over the it and the mattress was all springs and full of stains. Absolutely disgusting. The furniture in the room looked like they got it from a dumpster, The breakfast was okay. If the room would have been clean and the sofa bed in decent condition it would have been so much better. I guess you get what you pay for. My mistake, never again."
