「This was a lovely place to stay, you can’t walk to town but the rooms are well appointed, breakfast and dinner were very good and the staff were efficient and friendly. My only negative is the check in is 5.30pm which is late and not in line with many other establishments. 4pm would have suited us better. Overall very good enjoyable stay 」

「Comfortable stay in all. Room and amenities exceeded expectations. Note for those wanting to park, the car park is small. It’s understandable that this fills up, fortunately the convention centre opposite has affordable parking. Will stay again when visiting friends and family in Harrogate. 」

「Beautiful house and a very friendly host who is clearly a great cook. Superb breakfast and lovely touches like a glass of fizz and canapés on arrival. Homemade sourdough bread is amazing. Will definitely use it again if back in the area. 」

「Lovely breakfast and cooked to perfection. Lovely hosts. The room we had was good quality with access to a lounge with a very large selection of travel and art reference books..very nice」

「A beautiful house, with a spacious and comfortable room - with a massive bath! (We paid extra for the room with a bath and we’re not disappointed.) It was wonderfully peaceful and felt so relaxing. The bed was very soft but we nevertheless slept really well because of the lovely atmosphere, quiet and airiness of the room. Friendly and professional staff. Nice breakfast - they accommodated me being veggie and asking for beans although it was not on the menu. Sadly brought fried rather than...

「A beautifully charming quiet property with equally charming owners. With a peaceful walled garden, off-street parking, complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea, and a DVD/ Book library to lounge in with a furry friend. A short drive to York or York Park & Ride, and many Michelin pubs in the area. I very much liked this place, and I will return.」
