Great place to stay just outside Thirsk

Superb location, very comfortable room. Extremely pleasant and welcoming host. Brilliant breakfast - would certainly return and stay longer when next in the area.

Newsham Farm B&B May 26

Lovely 3 day stay. Room spotlessly clean and serviced daily with clean towels, tea , cofeee etc. Sue our hostess was amazing , very friendly and full of local knowledge. The breakfast was really lovely with plenty of options- so nice to have fresh fruit not tinned.

Gem of a place to unwind

A gem of a place to unwind. We were made to feel very welcome and the hot tub and setting was very relaxing! Hospital and food were also better than you’d expect for the price. Great value all things considered!

Beautiful, stunning surroundings! Accommodation was absolutely immaculate. Sue was very welcoming, as too was George the dog. We are definitely planning on coming here again. Our first and only choice for our next stay in Thirsk. Beautiful varied choice of breakfast options too!

This was a beautiful property on 13 acres with orchards and a lovely courtyard. The room was extremely spacious and meticulously decorated and cleaned. The bathroom was spacious and featured a fabulous shower (Room 3). Sue was a gracious host and prepared a delicious made to order breakfast in a beautiful dining area. Conveniently located to the town of Thirsk which has a James Harriet (All Creatures Great and Small) museum. Well-worth a visit with shopping and parking. 5-stars!

A perfect escape! We got to park the car and enjoy the sunset and quiet while soaking in the views from the hot tub. We weren’t brave enough to try the pool at the start of May but will be back in the future. The breakfast choice amazing and Sue was very welcoming.

Best B&B Ever!!!

Lovely Newsham Grange

Beautiful B&B in a great location for visiting much of North Yorkshire and the Dales. Our room was clean, comfortable and much larger than we expected. Sue is the perfect welcoming host and makes a fantastic breakfast.

What a gem! Stayed here for one night as we were attending a wedding nearby. Couldn’t be happier with the service received from Sue (and George the Rottweiler) and how lovely the Barn Owl suite was.
