"Excellent breakfast, good service."

"I’ve stayed here before and the rooms have always been okay but this time my room was poor. The curtains were hanging off the hooks, there were cob webs in the corners and a whole in the wall. The room felt really musty and claustrophobic. I was going to ask if I could swap rooms but I didn’t have time before I had to leave for the evening. It felt like the room hadn’t been used for a while. I booked a cheap room so I didn’t have to get a cab home by myself late at night however the rooms location and it’s condition didn’t feel very safe. Breakfast was nice but staff could have been more welcoming. "

"The place was easy to find and well sign posted tonthe reception area. I was greetwd by a lovely lady who showed me to my room and explained everything from breakfast time, the WiFi password to the adjustment of the temperature. The room was beautifully arranged and decorated with a separate entry hall, cupboard, large bathroom, which was stocked with complimentary hair and body wash. The outside/courtyard area for thw guests was well maintained and looked like a lovely place to sit in the summer. The food at the restaurant was well prepared and presented. I can recommend their seasoned fries! I was really impressed by all of the staff here, the level of service and just how well the rooms were set out and maintained. It was a very peaceful and pleasurable stay."

"Had a decent stay. Bed was not very comfortable though. Staff were polite. Food was just okay. Probably not stay again due to the fact on my day of departure, I practically had to walk over all the clean bedding and towels for the next guests because they had been placed on the floor outside my room and on the stairs that everyone uses to get to and from the rooms. Everything should have all been in a clean laundry bag."

"Nice hotel with some nice touches but little changes have been made since our last stay such as no complimentary biscuits in room. Also taken away the complimentary Kings Ginger liqueur. Rooms could be better furnished many don't have wardrobes. "
