「Honestly, what a delight — was not expecting a ton from a HIE in Carmel, Indiana, but this is a case study in how great management and staff can turn any property into a great one. 「The staff was polite. The parking was good. The beds were comfortable, and we enjoyed the complimentary coffee. The room we stayed in needed maintenance. The sliding glass door to the outdoor patio had issues with its track. The bathroom ceiling had black mold, possibly from a leak. The mini fridge was too small to put any food in and frankly, the cabinet next to it was more suitable for bigger and more adequate unit. The cabinet was empty and looked like it was missing shelved. ...

「Nice enough hotel. At the price we paid it should have been spotless and it wasn't. Didn't stay more than one night because of the price. We had other reservations but on arrival found out the hotel had no hot water. We had to scramble to find lodging.」

Bottles of soap, shampoo, lotion, etc. were not secured to prevent bottles being opened by other travelers. My room was near a busy road, and there was traffic noise all night.
