"It's needing a lot of TLC. Very run down, trash everywhere, weeds over grown. I appreciate the price and the room was decent, but breakfast was limited not remotely appetizing. Would not return but if you're on an extreme budget it would be for you."

"For the price point (great deal on Expedia), it was a good value. I'm not sure what the regular price per night is without the deal. Pros: Clean rooms and helpful staff (although the company could invest in teaching Spanish speaking staff key words and phrases in English, and English speaking staff the same for key Spanish words and phrases -- We asked for extra blankets and received 5 pillowcases.) Cons: Maintenance was the biggest issue (broken ice maker on one floor, no washer dryer on another, dinged up doors and walls, cracked lampshade, missing TP roller etc). No hair dryers, and soap and shampoo were in fixed containers that are refilled when empty, not when a new guest arrives. This is fairly typical for hotels of this price, and none of it was terrible. Breakfast was scrambled eggs, sausage and potatoes, cereal and yogurt. No fresh fruit. Juice and the milk for cereal were extremely watered down. A couple of standard waffle makers were available. If I had paid over $100 per night I would have been disappointed. But it was a good deal and comfortable for what I paid."

"Upon arriving at the hotel we had some preconceived concern's but all that all went away when we arrived. The outside was clean and well maintained. The inside likewise. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Even the guest mostly were pleasant and chatty. The room was clean and well maintained. The shower was glass inclosed and had great water pressure and temp. The beds are very comfortable. The room was very quiet during our 3 night stay with the exception of some littles ones having a great time on their vacation but after 10 pm we didn’t hear anything concerning. Breakfast was OKAY. Your typical set up but it did the trick. Location is good. Short drive to anything you may need in shopping or dining. We felt comfortable and safe at this location. Pikes peak and Garden of the gods are a must see…beautiful. Tip: 1. Don’t gas up at connivence store down the street of hotel. Prices are more reasonable away from hotels. 2. An ice chest will be helpful, especially if you have kids to keep drinks in. And chapstick too. 3. The drive to the Summit of Pikes peak is no joke. If you're not comfortable with a few hair-pin turns, high on a mountain, then there is a train that takes you up as well. Also, bring warm clothes incase a brief bout of freezing weather come as it did when we were there. Some people only had t-shirts and shorts on when the temps dropped below 40 degrees with sleet and gusty cold winds. The views are amazing though."
