"Room wasn't very clean. No sealing around the door so all night the noise was nonstop. Just an old hotel. Parking sucked. Laundry machines weren't working. Had to fight for hot water. Other wise great beds, good towels, easy to get to in a great location."

"We strongly advise that you avoid this place. The room and the hall stunk of chemical spray for roaches and bed bugs. It was impossible to sleep here. We came out feeling sick from the smell, with no sleep. The staff denied it all. The pillows on the beds are very poor quality. The breakfast is frugal and of poor quality. The breakfast room is so small you have to fight for a place to sit. This hotel is long past its prime. We will never return."

"It needs renovation, old carpets smell and not well insulated you could hear other guest in there rooms. Hope the new owners will upgrade"

"New and very clean in downtown Nanaimo. The beds are extremely comfortable. The rooms are impeccable. Centrally located as well. Parking for hotel guests is just across the way, and is very reasonably priced. This will be my new go-to stay for Nanaimo."
