「Glad I stayed here through a tornado warning. Nice old hotel with lots of original features. The lack of a front desk person and the inability to use the elevator (though I did not try since prior reviews said it had to be operated by one of them) dinged this hotel. I had no trouble parking, but I arrived late and left early.」

「It’s a great lodge like hotel. The pool was very nice and the breakfast was quite adequate!」

「I booked this trip through Expedia and paid for it beforehand. The hotel ended up triple charging me the deposit (which I ended up getting back.) But they also charged me for the stay as well. Ive emailed and submitted screenshots of the double payments, bank statements, etc, and still have not gotten my refund. This was in April, and its now end of June. Will never stay here again. Be weary booking this place through Expedia. First time Ive ever had this issue, so Im thankful. But still...

「The room was very clean. The workers were very pleasant, but they put us in room 129 which is the last room right beside of the back exit and everybody has to go out the back. Exit to smoke because it’s a non-smoking establishment. So all night long whether someone coming or going or smoking or whatever every time that door opened I heard it. I am a very light sleeper and I did not get any sleep. The back of the building smoking area was like a revolving door that never stopped.」

「This was a surprisingly nice place to stay! There was construction but we had been aware beforehand, and none of the areas we utilized (breakfast area, our room, the workout facility, etc.) were impacted and we heard ZERO work noise from our room. We were just passing through here driving back from South Carolina where we stayed at another Hilton hotel, but this was by far the best sleep we all had all week. 「This is really a hotel for people traveling with children - active children. The amenities for adult travelers are kind of on the slim side but children can be totally satisfied with activities, breakfast foods, open spaces, wall decor. Our room had a lightbulb out in the bedside reading lamp and was devoid of usb outlets entirely. Room was adequate but not particularly comfortable - no added amenities but a huge tv set staring down the bed. Not a hotel for me!」
