"I normally try and be fair about reviews but this hotel was awful. The elevator didn’t work so we had to carry our luggage up to 3rd floor. The room was dirty and didn’t seem to have been cleaned very well. The shower tub was peeling and had a disgusting rubber mat over it to hide the peeling. The sink and toilet area was dirty and dated. The AC for the room worked poorly so we were hot or cold all night. It was truly a disgusting experience!"

"If you are handicapped go to another hotel. The only handicapped rooms and outside in the pool area. The room is dirty and poorly maintained. There is rot under the window and holes in the door of the bathroom as well as around the fire detector. The molding around the bathroom door has been attempted to be repaired but not sanded down or painted with the correct paint color. There are cracks in the bathtub wall. There is rust on the seat for the handicapped individuals to use to take a shower. The have rooms on the first floor inside -how disrespectful to make the handicapped individuals stay outside in an unsecured area and in a room so poorly maintained."

"We have stayed here several times due to the proximity ti the heart hospital. The staff is always friendly, the breakfast is fresh and delicious with some great choices. The rooms are clean. "

"We booked the last room on Expedia and paid in full as we were in Lubbock for the George Strait concert and the city and up to 1 hr travel was sold out! When we arrived at the Travel Lodge we were told they gave our room to someone else but they had another room that they don’t usually rent out that we could stay in. We had no other choice but to accept because we were 5 hours from home and we could not find another room in Lubbock! It was horrible!! Broken window, mold in the tub/shower, holes in the wall and the list goes on and on! We asked for a discount but were told they couldn’t because we booked thru a 3rd party (Expedia). We paid over $200 for this mess. So disappointed in Expedia that they would even partner with a hotel of this status."

"Staff was very nice and helpful. Water took a long time to heat up and then it was just warm enough to take a shower. There was no channel line up in the room and the tv doesn't have a guide option to choose channels and see what is on. "

"Very very nice stay. The staff is super accommodating and friendly. The rooms were very comfy and clean. We loved that the location was walking distance to the stadium and so close to many restaurants. I highly recommend and would definitely stay here again "
