"We have always stayed at the Hotel Isabel for the past 5-6 years. We have two dogs, enjoyed the convenience and dog friendly atmosphere. Last time we were there we were concerned with the restaurant. This time is was HORRIBLE. It was obvious why there were no patrons. There were no beverages but soda, no wine, no coffee and no alcoholic beverages. We only had water for dinner. The food came COLD. I mean my rice, vegetables and shrimp were cold. They were not freshly prepared and tasted terrible. We noticed the one other table in the restaurant returned their pizza because it was cold. The waiter did nothing but laugh at his phone. We did not even have silverware and had to ask for it after our meals came. There are NO other restaurants in the area and we would have been required to drive a distance to find a meal. After all of these years. We will not be returning to the HOtel Isabel."

One of the highlights was the rooftop pool area, which was pristine and beautifully maintained—a perfect place to unwind after a day of sightseeing. The service throughout our stay was seamless and accommodating. Late checkout was provided without difficulty, and the hotel staff graciously arranged transportation to the airport, making our departure completely stress-free. "

"Down town Guadalajara, lot shops,bakerys,coffee shops different Banks, in front of pharmacist and churches ALL WALKS DISTANCE. We come 3 time's a year."

"The size of the room was good. Greeting new customers needing to be reassess by Manager. Outside the hotel is a very rough neighbourhood. Not recommended for solo female traveller. I was really looking forward to explore Centro Historico in Guadalajara. I will not go back in that area again. I walked half a block and had to return to my room. It felt it was very dangerous. Very disappointed for the price I paid for the hotel considering the location and barely any amenities. Also was a lot further to get to the airport than stated on Expedia. It was 42 minutes from the airport to get to the hotel opposed to 21 minutes as stated in the publicity. I had to pay 300 pesos to get to Centro Historico and 450 pesos to the taxi cash money to get back to the Guadalajara airport ( their shuttle !!!). Pricey shuttle. "
