"Beautiful property, amazing views. Located high up on a backroad so not at all walkable to anything. We booked a villa with a private pool. Room was clean, large and spacious. Bed was comfortable. "We liked our stay at Smaranala as a stopover to our next stay. The room was nice and the pool excellent. The atmosphere is difficult to understand as it seems to be directed at long-term residents and the expat community. It is located in a strange residential place, not really close to any shops or food opportunities (you´ll find them after a lot of walking in unlit roads). Unfortunately the breakfast was not included, which is always disappointing."
