"Fabulous hotel and very attentive and professional staff. Exciting history and luxurious amenities. Highly recommended! The only blemish was that our room had a view to the service road/entry and a wall. Not quite what we expected in an over 400-dollars-per-night room on top of a hill. It was a holiday weekend that explains a bit of the pricing."

The location is stunning, yet close to amenities and lots of different options for sightseeing, day trips etc. Rooms were a great size and well equipped. The staff were beautiful. I found them to be so warm and friendly and the perfect blend of checking on you and your needs but not having the feeling that they were stalking. Food and wines were fabulous! "Very good location. Friendly staff. Unfortunately no coffee is available in the hotel other than at breakfast. The lift does not extend to all floors and so my wife and I had to carry heavy suitcases up 2 flights of stairs. "

"We stayed for 4 nights and were very satisfied. The location is great: just a minute’s walk from the bus terminal (perfect for our day trip to Assisi) and easy escalator access to the city center. Rooms were spacious for a European hotel, and the modern facilities are well-maintained. The included breakfast was satisfactory. Note that the gym and pool require an extra fee - I didn’t have time to use them anyway, but it was a bit surprising. "
