A bit of Umbrian heaven

Our stay at Borgo Mandoleto was towards the end of a couple of week sin Italy. What a great way to wind up the trip! Donnatella and he husband are marvelous! Donnatella is a wonderful cook, I highly recommend eating with them at every opportunity. The property is just outside of the small village of Solomeo, near Perugia. It is quiet and relaxing. We made friends with Mema, the kitty in residence, and she was fine company as well. There is a beautiful pool, unfortunately it was too early for it to be open, but it would be wonderful in the summer. Our room was also wonderful and comfortable. If you want to use this as a base it's centrally loated in northern Umbria. A good place to go see Lake Trasimeno, Assisi and the hilltop towns of Umbria, as well as close to a lot of the hill towns of Tuscany. We would HIGHLY recommend Borgo Mandoleto!!

Oasi di pace poco lontano da Perugia. C'è una bella piscina che purtroppo nn abbiano potuto utilizzare per il maltempo. Camere in stile rustico, molto curate. Ambienti abbastanza puliti, si è in campagna quindi se trovi un calabrone morto sul davanzale delle finestra è normale. Il posto è davvero incantevole e c'è una pace davvero rilassante attorno.

Posto meraviglioso per relax assoluto

La nostra esperienza è partita male ma e’ finita Alla grande perché avevamo prenotato su un altra struttura che al momento dell arrivo era chiusa ma la professionalità di Expedia e la cortesia dello staff ci ha aiutato a risolvere la disavventura proponendoci “borgo Mandoleto”un posto a dir poco stupendo, i proprietari persone fantastiche socievoli e disponibili. Quindi lo consiglio a tt coloro che vogliono trascorrere giorni di relax in un posto accogliente pulito e con persone socievoli e disponibili ma soprattutto professionali. Voto da 1 a 10? 10 pieno

Bella struttura, comoda ma non un agriturismo

Struttura a due passi da Perugia e da tutte le località più belle dell'Umbria. Camere belle comode e funzionali. Il ristorante nulla di eccezionale con portate molto commerciali e la proprietaria ha fatto in modo che non cenassimo la seconda sera. Probabilmente perché eravamo un gruppo con 6 bambini. Comunque nei dintorni ci sono ottimi ristoranti con prezzi più che buoni.

Struttura da dimenticare

Il soggiorno non è predisposto di climatizzatore. I riscaldamenti non sono autonomi di fatti abbiamo avuto problemi con i riscaldamenti in quanto erano programmabili dalla sede. Ci siamo morti di freddo. Oltre a questo disguido la SPA non potevano entrare più di 4 persone oltre ad avere una ditta esterna per i massaggi. Noi siamo venuti soprattutto per i massaggi e la SPA. Purtroppo non abbiamo fatto nessuno dei due per via degli impegni della ditta esterna. Come se non bastasse si sentivano tutti i rumori delle altre stanze. Roba da non credere. Stavo per lasciare la stanza ed andarmene. Io di certo non ci tornerò più

Accogliente agriturismo a poca distanza da Perugia

Un bell'agriturismo adiacente il borgo di Solomeo, a pochi Km da Perugia. Camera dal discreto comfort, curati ambienti comuni dall'arredo rustico. Fantastica la colazione con torte e marmellate fatte in casa o con prodotti della proprietà. Ampio spazio esterno con piscina e spa ad uso esclusivo.

Sejour reposant

Nous n'etions plus des clients, mais tout simplement devenus les invites de Donatella et son mari: ils se sont vraiment coupés en quatre pour nous rendre notre sejour tres agreable et reposant. Le buffet de petit dejeuner est complet et comprend outres les croissants et pains locaux, plusieurs gateaux fraichements cuits sur place, jus, etc. Au soir, La cuisine de Donatella est tout simplement rafinée, variée et inspirée d'Ombrie (y inclus la truffe noire...). Sa localisation située entre Sienne, Assise et Orvieto (en plus des villages charmants comme Gubbia ou Tigo) offre une multitude d'excursions culturelles. Nous n'avons malheureusement pas eu le temps de profiter de balades à cheval (un centre equestre est à moins de 5km). Ce sera pour une prochaine fois...? Mais le plus indéniable de l'endroit est outre le calme et la vue sur Perugia, le spa privatisable pendant 1:30 (sur réservation). Enfin, mention très bien également pour le massage shiatsu en chambre.

Il Borgo è magnifico, la posizione perfetta a 20 minuti da Perugia, le camere belle e pulite, il personale gentilissimo è disponibile, la cena degustazione una favola e la possibilità di godere della spa ad uso privato è una cosa meravigliosa, ci torneremo sicuramente. Consigliatissimo
