Friendly staff and great food! We had a Saturday dinner on arrival (pricier than weekday dinners but the pici pasta and florentina steaks were delicious) which was really a wonderful experience. The breakfast was tasty. Staff were always friendly. The property is great for walking around and so picturesque.

Exceptionally beautiful and well-maintained domain with lots of greenery. Food and wine (produced by the estate itself!) were truly excellent. Quiet and peaceful ambiance, very friendly staff. Easy to reach, close to the A1 motorway. Rooms were a little dated, but comfortable and very well maintained. Close to some beautiful nature areas and lovely Tuscan villages. Siena and Perugia are also very easy to reach.

Lovely stay in Tuscany!

This hotel exceeded our expectations. It was so beautiful! The food was fabulous, the wine tasting was an added bonus and the grounds were wonderful for exploring! We felt very relaxed and at home here.

My wife and I stayed one night here. And we had a memorable time here. The dinner, we made reservation by email in advance, was the most delicious meal in Italy. And the atmosphere was the best as well. We want to visit Italy again only for Sovana!

Could be paradise...

The place is enchanting. Wonderful nature, peace, privacy. The property is nicely kept under the vigilant eye of the amazing Mr. Olivi, with great care to details. Comfortable room, though at 3-star level (sheets, towels, bath accessories). Food was OK, but it could (and should) be great to make this place really top-notch. In an Agriturismo, you expect to eat all natural and locally produced (even on site) foods. Breakfast in particular was not up to par with limited options and unremarkable industrial ham, sliced bread, jams and juices. We ate two dinners at the property, both of which were really good, but the fixed menu with undeclared appetizers and desserts can yield unpleasant surprises (it did to us).

Wonderful stay for our family of 4 at this delightful property at La Sovana, where the food is delicious, the staff and owners are welcoming, the views are breathtaking and the grounds are immaculate. We enjoyed playing tennis and walking around the grounds, the kids enjoyed the playground and of course the swimming pool was bliss for all. Truly one of our best holidays so far, we can't wait to be back

Our vacation at this family hotel has been absolutely delightful! It has been a perfect blend of tranquility and beauty. The hotel's cleanliness and excellent maintenance have truly impressed us. The property is gorgeous - beautiful views and location. We enjoyed the pool, bocce and tennis courts. Family suite was very comfortable for 2 adults and 2 kids. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious. The staff are all friendly and helpful. I felt some of the services were a little overpriced (Eg laundry and meals) and we thought the pizza night was “just ok” - but I would wholeheartedly recommend this Agriturismo and happily visit again. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We selected this location as it was near Chiusi train station and the start of a 6 day Tuscan Cycling tour. We arrived around 5:30 after an overnight flight from Toronto and train transfer from Rome airport to Chiusi station. The minute we arrived we started to decompress due to the quiet and peaceful surroundings and view over a beautiful valley of vineyards and olive groves. A set menu meal was served at 8:00 and was utterly delicious. Same for the meals on Saturday. Would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay if we return to Tuscany. 👍👍
