During our stay our room key stopped working late at night. By chance, I was able to use the other room key from my reservation. I jokingly said, "I wonder what other doors it would open" and was completely shocked when it opened two other rooms beside ours, which is completely unacceptable and a clear safety and security concern.
Both rooms also had major issues: the TV in the first room only had one working channel, and the TV in the second room was broken entirely an upon entering the room, there was a strong odor that smelled like bleach and mold.
After a long drive and having to walk about half a mile from the original location to the second hotel location (you check in at one spot and the your room is actually half a mile away from the location shared on the site), we attempted to call the office twice for assistance, but no one answered and there was no option to leave a voicemail.
At checkout, we were told to contact Expedia. Since then, customer service has failed to follow up by phone and continues to send repetitive, generic emails claiming the case was reviewed while ignoring the actual issues.
This was not the hotel or experience I originally planned, and the lack of accountability afterward has been just as disappointing as the stay itself. I would not recommend this property based on both safety concerns and poor customer service.
