A good stay

Excellent apartment. Area is good, safe and very quiet. A supermarket is in walking distance. Rapid response for the owner on any questions. Only one thing is needed: a safe box to be perfect.

I had high expectations for this place. The check in process according to the instructions, I was suppose to get an email with a code 5 days before. I never received anything. I messaged them 2 days before, didn't hear from them. I called the day before and finally got ahold of someone. The day I arrived I had to call again because they only gave me the code for the unit and not the gate to enter the property. Once inside I tried lowering the blinds and messaged them how to do it. Well they didn't know so I had to use towels. The tv remote batteries died and I messaged them about that. I just took the batteries from the A.C. unlt remote. 2 days later a maintenance man showed up and he fixed the blind and replaced the batteries. I told him about the bathroom mirror light not working. Let's get to cleanliness. I found a dead bug by the bed, the bathroom sink handle had gum on it, the main blanket that keeps you warm smelled like a mans sweaty armpit. The only thing I can say, which is important was the bed and pillows were comfortable and I slept well. Also, there was always parking no matter what time I arrived to the unit.The host on the phone was nice and did try to help but overall I will never stay there again.

Moved location days before our check-in

I had initially booked a room by the Calle 8 location but 5 days before they switched our reservation to another location. The new location was ideal with free parking. Bed & sofa bed were uncomfortable, limited hangers in closet & no place to store clothes; no dressers. Only one towel per person. I asked for two extra towels & a blanket but they weren't available until the following day. By then, I had already purchased new ones at Target.

I stayed here with my wife for a week while visiting Miami to attend a baseball game. One of the main reasons I chose this lodging was because it is very close to the Miami Marlins stadium. Another nearby attraction is Little Havana, where we enjoyed going out at night. There are plenty of restaurants and live music along Calle Ocho (8th Street), and we had a great time there. Bayside Marketplace is also very close, and Dolphin Mall is about a 30-minute drive away. This is not a hotel, so you are responsible for keeping your room clean during your stay. I had no issues finding street parking right in front of the address. The neighborhood is quiet and felt safe. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Miami.

Extreme value! Great location. Decently equipped. Couple minor gripes but no stars deducted- induction stove can’t boil water. Even after an hour of trying both burners. The dryer either melted/burned part of our load or had something melted/burned before we added our load. Be cautious but even with those minor gripes I’d say 5*
