Las fotos no tienen nada que ver con la realidad. Es muy diferente. No corresponde a valor cobrado. Con ese valor se encuentra algo mucho mejor. El personal muy amable. Pero Es costoso para las instalaciones muy básicas o sencillas

Beautiful views and a great stay!

We had an amazing stay at Shining Waters this February. The guest house is located on a cliff right next to the ocean with gorgeous views. Too bad you can't really swim in those shark-infested waters, which is why it's nice to have a pool in the garden. The owner was very welcoming and helpful, and his breakfast was super tasty! The only flaw to our stay was that the wi-fi did not reach our room, but that was made clear when we arrived. Strongly recommend!

My entire stay was horrible there was no more towels left or rags for my room . The manger was terrible and treated me soo rude . My hotel room was dirty, the bed was tearing apart ect. I’m so happy I only booked for 1 night only and booked with a Better cleaner hotels around the corner because Hotel18 was not worth the money!! I could cry how bad my stay was honestly.

Good Stay

Overall this was a good stay. The rooms could use some updating for sure, but for the location and service, it was great for the price compared to other surrounding hotels. They do have a very nice updated courtyard to enjoy your coffee in the morning. I would suggest this hotel for a night or 2 for sure.

Worst place ever

Hotel18 was the worst place to stay ever. The breakfast staff was angry and holding some of the food back. For the price of the rooms we got ripped off. I do not recommend anyone to stay there.

Great hotel, wonderful location,price was fair.

We love this hotel, perfect location for beach, and Lincoln avenue, ten minutes walk to Ocean Drive. Our room was spacious, lovely big queen size bed. Beautiful white sheets. Kitchenette was superb had we had stayed longer,we would have self catered. Front desk staff were SO HELPFUL with everything.Directions, local transports & sights ..The breakfast was cereals, fruit, yoghurts, croissants & pastries, toast butter and jams. Unlimited juice tea and coffee, on a nice morning you get to eat outside in the courtyard...Will definitely stay here again.

Jorge is awesome!

I didn't stay here long. I checked in at 8:30pm and left at 6:30 am the next morning, so I can't say much about the place with accuracy. What I will say though is that Jorge at the front desk, is awesome! He is the most helpful person I've ever come across in the hospitality industry. He gave me advice on where to go and how to make the most of my time while saving money. He even booked a tour for me! He went above and beyond. Super personable and friendly. I would come here again just because he is there and makes the stay so comfortable and homey.

Second night at this disappointing hotel. I see where the owners refer to it as a boutique hotel. I think that translates to old, tired, and not well appointed. They made the bed, but didn't replace the towels. Fortunately there was still one left in the room, but no bath mat. The free breakfast was only available from 8-10 am and I had to be at my meeting before 8 am so the breakfast didn't work out for me. I'm taking this one off the list when I return to Miami Beach. I'm so glad my wife decided not to come with me to this hotel!

The property manager was not at the checkin counter when I arrived to check in and had to wait 15 minutes for someone to show up. There are only 5 parking spaces for the entire hotel, so expect an additional $30/night parking. The "free breakfast" is only available from 8-10am, so if you're for business, forget the breakfast being available. Facilities are "tired" and the walls are thin. TV in the next room was on almost all night. No hangers in the room. The view out the room is some trashy, very narrow alleyway between buildings. No soap or shampoo in the room. The towels were tattered. The room is generally clean enough and there was hot water. The location is convenient and the room was cheap, but will not stay here again! Would have been more comfortable sleeping in my truck if it was equipped with a shower.

Desafortunada estancia

No tan bueno, la habitación requiere mantenimiento la puerta del baño y otros enceres estaban deteriorados. La cama te destrozaba la espalda. La limpieza se hacia pero no te dejaban toallas tuve q perderla en más de dos oportunidades y el estacionamiento es un problema nunca hay sito. Siento q han dejado de invertir en el hotel y poco o nada hacen por mejorar.
