This 1bed 1 bath is great for 2 max. The location of popular restaurants, bars, department stores makes it super convenient cause you can walk to everything. The property was quiet & friendly. I did feel safe. Parking might be a challenge. Overall it is a small space but the location and convince makes up for the cost.

We ended up stranded with our flight home cancelled and needed somewhere that we could fit in the budget, that had character and interest that wasn't the beach since it was 65 degrees and out of the budget anyway since this was unexpected. This totally fit the bill. Cute and Cozy with the ability to not eat every meal out, walking distance to a great energy, and an early check-in to accomidate our "nowhere to go" situation.

I did not stay. I got there. There was nowhere to park near the place. They told me I need to park two blocks down the street at another property. I got to the parking place and it was a condemned building. The parking behind the parking lot was flooded and there were mattresses laying everywhere trash shopping carts. It was not safe. There were people hanging out that did not seem to be safe to be around, so I did not stay I didn’t even go into the place because I felt fear for my safety parking in the only spots to park to walk there plus since they were shady people hanging out in that parking lot, I was afraid my car would get broken into plus getting all of my luggage out and my personal belongings and my purse. I feared my safety of someone attacking me beware of staying here.

Part 1 of 2. I WOULD NOT WISH THIS ACCOMMODATION ON MY WORST ENEMY. Arrived late evening in Miami after 19 hour transatlantic journey. Accommodation is not manned so you receive instructions a few hours before check-in on codes to use to open the door. Tried the codes several times - the door would not open. Called the number given on the instructions, but no reply, so I messaged, but also no reply. Walked around the accommodation to find someone who might help but found no-one. Tried the code a few more times and, as if by magic, the door opened. Received a reply to my message the following morning repeating the instructions previously provided which didn’t work. No instructions provided on how to lock the door but managed it by randomly pressing a few buttons. Once locked, I tried to open it again with the instructions but the door didn’t open. Called the number a few times after leaving for my first day of holiday. and eventually received a reply. Explained the problem. Was told they would ask the cleaners to check to door. They called shortly later and told me the cleaners had tried the door and it was working fine. This was clearly wrong so I returned to the property. Showed the cleaner the problem. She clearly know about this problem, and then showed me the workaround, which was to push the door hard before entering the code. This worked, as it did for the remainder of my stay...more to follow.

We booked a room for 3 people (2 adults and 1 child) that was supposed to have a king size bed and a sofa bed for our daughter, but the bed we were assigned only had 1 bed and a regular sofa and towels for 2 persons. Unfortunately that « hotel » doesn’t have a staffed reception desk. You receive your room number and code for the door by sms, which we didn’t know when we booked the room. When we called the « hotel number » to complain about the room situation around 9pm shortly after our arrival, we were told that maintenance staff would only be on location the next day between 10am and 4pm. Meanwhile the checkout was at 11am.

Overall a fine stay, the accomodations themselves are lovely. It was clean, safe, well equipped, the bed is comfy all in all it was good. The host was very quick to respond! If I am nitpicking, these are the areas for improvement; The check in is entirely remote and kind of annoying to do from your phone. The hot water in the bathroom only worked for one of my two showers. The colour temperature of the light in the bathroom was really harsh. There is a really bright light outside and though the glass on the door is frosted for privacy, the light still comes in from outside which could interrupt someone's sleep. It was a totally fine stay for a night, safe, clean with good communication. The fridge works, kitchen is decently equipped, lots of towels.

I had a wonderful stay at El Jardín. The location is excellent and made getting around Miami easy. The team was welcoming and attentive from start to finish. The property and room felt comfortable and well maintained, and everything worked exactly as expected. I would absolutely stay here again and I will be recommending it to friends and family.
