  • This place is right behind the James L Knight Center, right between the Brickell Avenue and the S.E. 2nd Avenue bridge. I was on the North side of the Miami River pointing my camera South East. I found plenty of parking for a reasonable price. Best time if you want lots of action would be Friday or Saturday night. For a more desolate nights I would recommend Monday thru Thursday night. Here you will find an incredible amount of photography opportunities to shoot for. While like any big city you will find a few homeless folks, the place was very clean and very well kept. Lots of new, very tall buildings have made the Miami landscape a very popular site for photography!

Rooms are basic but for the money I paid it was okay. They have a free airport shuttle which is good. I may not pay more than $175/nite personally. It is convenient to the airport. I heard a few people looking for a Walmart or Target nearby. But there isn’t one within walking distance.

The young man at the front desk was so helpful!! The airlines lost our luggage. He gave us some personal hygiene items and information that we needed to replace lost items. Then we got a phone call that some of our luggage had been found and they gave us a ride to the airport to pick up our luggage. We will definitely stay there again.
