「I spent three nights here whilst away for work, I got there late on the first night and a late check-in was no problems, the staff here are fantastic, really nice people and always happy to talk, the hotel is in nice grounds with horse fields out the front, I went for a run around the local area and it was nice. 「From the pictures on the site, it indicated that toileries would be provided. But there was none to be seen. Initially had problems getting into my room, because the no. received was incorrect. Contacted the Office and this was corrected immediately. The no.19a bus goes to the 'Shirley' area, just ask the driver to put you off at the Howard Road bus stop. 「Gorgeous room and lovely decor overall although a few things were broken opun arrival e.g. One of the blinds pull strings was snapped and one of the plant pots was crackes. The staff were very courteous and helpful. I would rate higher but the rooom did not come with any bath products or a hair dryer, and the tea and coffee was kept in the hallway between the rooms rather than having a selection in the room. Will definitely stay again if this is fixed. 」

「Everyone at this hotel is so nice and welcoming. Everyone always had a smile and were willing to help in any way. The hotel and gardens are breathtaking. It’s absolutely beautiful and a very different experience. The food was delicious and the drinks were spot on. They had entertainment and honestly we loved our stay. The one and only thing I would ask for is AC in the room and even then I still give them a 5 star. I would love to come back. 」

「Good free parking when registered as a guest. Nice breakfast with a la carte and buffet included. Reception staff very helpful with booking tas. Room a little small compared to some other hotels we have stayed in and dates but McLean and comfortable. Two flights of stairs were a surprise but we did not specify a lower floor 」
