「A 40min walk to centre of town/Ribeira, we got Uber back which wasn’t expensive. Ponte2 good for breakfast, 10 minute walk if you go through the park in the roundabout. Praça Boavista brilliant for dinner and walkable. Hotel bathroom is a bit of a squeeze to get in the shower and has a sliding glass door - so no good if you need the loo in the middle of the night and don’t want the light to wake your companion. Unfortunately this seems to be a popular option in Portugal and Spain now.」

「We loved the eclectic decor and the garden. We had a bedroom with an attached lounge. Unfortunately due to water damage we could not use the lounge.This did impact our stay with reduced space. The owners were apologetic but their misfortune affected our stay with the use of space. The breakfast and location were great.
