Jun 3, 2020Everyone we talked to was very helpful and friendly. Diane’s Cafe was very good. Talked to complete strangers there and also over at the library about finding an old family cemetery. (We found it!)

"Noted my bathroom had signs of loose wallpaper, peeling drywall, and handle on the commode was loose. Otherwise, the room was clean, cool and comfortable. Staff was capable and friendly, and complimentary breakfast was very adequate."

"The St. James is a lovely historical hotel with a friendly staff. If you stay, reserve a room on the river with a view of the bridge. Be sure to visit the Voting Rights Museum and the park/shop at the base of the bridge. We are so glad we visited the city. We just wish Selma could be revitalized ..."
