"The property desperately needs a refresh. As a loyal RIU patron I was very disappointed with this property. RIU might need a property rating. I would have gladly stayed and paid for the RIU Cabo but it was booked. The Sante Fe was extremely understaffed, the food was sub par, and they only allowed you to consume can Dos XX in the room. Only warm on tap around the property and NO drink servers ANYWHERE! I assume this bargain basement presentation was for the Spring Breakers but we were not happy. Had I realized it was a sub par property we would have vacationed elsewhere as a result my loyalty to RIU is in question."

"I liked the old school Mexican charm of this resort, being built into the rocks. However it was spread out and long confusing walk from my room to the beach I would recommend upgrading to an ocean view room.. I felt like we got good service and enjoyed the poolside lunches. My biggest complaint is that the pool water was very murky and not clear."

"Wifi was spotty and not reliable. Went to 3 different restaurants at 7:00pm and was told they were full for the night, had people waiting for tables. Some info at checkin about the process would have helped. First time at this property but wegave stayed next door at the adults only Location and it was much better service and wifi."
