Enjoyed our stay. Staff friendly and helpful. I recognized some of the staff from last visit 3 years ago. Room clean and everything worked. Beds FIRM. AC worked well. Water hot for showers everyday. Lots of repeat visitors, peoplewho have been coming here for years so that says something. This is an older place and lacks some of the fancy amenities. Pool is basic and shows a bit of wear. Lots of chairs and loungers on beach and around pool. Nice big umbrellas for shade. Easy to relax and watch for whales. Bring binoculars! Only thing I was disappointed in was food at the hotel. Beach food was pretty good but avoid the hamburger and fries. Stick with the Mexican food offered. The in house restaurant remains buffet style. Good breakfast items offered daily with omelets to order, etc. The quality of the lunch and dinner meals has suffered compared to previous visit. They served steaks on a few of the days and they were...um...pretty tough. I am not that picky honestly but the tough meat was the talk of the beach on the days it was served. I think I would stay here again but maybe go out for lunch and dinner. Lots of fabulous restaurants in a d around town.

I have stayed here many times. It’s a great place to start and end, stage from for incoming and outgoing flights personally or for friends to relax or remove the stress of flight and airport issues. No place has a higher rating.

Best value property in San Jose, or anywhere in Cabo. Ocean front, friendly staff, dated but clean. The food was better than average and the hotel is centrally located. I’ll definitely be going back.

Charming little all inclusive hotel in a great area. Walking distance to downtown art walk and also to grocery stores. The place is a little dated and could use some updating but it is clean and the staff were all very friendly. The beach area is quite large and there was no problem at all finding spots to lay out. No fighting for beach chairs or other foolishness.

Pros: Pool area and the beach it sits on is lovely and was the highlight of our stay. Our room was very clean. Good location as it was an easy walk to a large grocery store and some food options. Cons: Property is a bit run down, especially the room we stayed in. Things were broken and furnishings outdated.

This is a small hotel without some of the big resort amenties like multiple food options, organized activities at the pool and beach and entertainment. But if you are looking for great beach, ocean view rooms with balconies, clean rooms, safe neighbourhood with lots of great restaurants and grocery store all walkable and a very friendly staff this is a great choice.

The room was very clean. Furniture was uncomfortable so I was disappointed about that, as all I really wanted was a comfy chair on the balcony. Loungers were limited poolside. Staff were extremely nice EXCEPT for Maria. She's billed as concierge, but acts like ALL the other hustlers. It took 2 days before leaving me in peace. I spent the budget getting here. I cannot abide all the hustlers I had to encounter on this trip. If I want to go on an excursion or see a time share I'm pretty sure I can ask about it myself.
