「Staff so friendly and helpful. Found room quite warm in the day but in evening was able to open windows fully to get some air in (stayed in April). I imagine would be very hot in summer even with fan provided in room. Walls are very thin, not a problem for me as thankfully my neighbours were quiet but I know other people were not so lucky. Was able to do me a vegan breakfast in the morning which I was happy with. I would stay again if I was in the area and needed a good value place to stay. 」

「The Cromwells tap house is a great old pub aswell as hotel. When we arrived on a Saturday afternoon, it was packed inside and also in the garden. We dropped our bags in the room which was extremely spacious with the most beautiful 4 poster carved wooden bed that you needed a step ladder to get in to it 😁. Carpet could do with changing in the room otherwise this hotel would’ve got an excellent review score. We ate in the bar and couldn’t fault the food. The hotel is up a hill so may not be for...
