"Overall the hotel is great but going back and forth to Wrexham station and Wrexham fc we ran up a £50 in taxi costs over 24hours . Excellent taxi company at general station. General areas of hotel superb having recently been renovated . Rooms adequate but not very good bathroom where was tight for room but also no cold water through the taps (?) . Maybe it was just our room ? "

"Room 430 - whilst the bedroom was lovely and generous and clean - the bathroom was small and frustrating. Nowhere to put toiletries, nowhere to hang towels. Handbasin was small and you could not bend forward when cleaning teeth as you’d hit your head on the glass shelf. Shower cubicle was very very small indeed and the controls for the shower was a large bulging control that ate into that space - cubicle was so small you kept hitting your elbows on the wall or shower screen. Overall the hotel is excellent but this bathroom let it down badly."

"Returned to the Hotel on Friday evening hoping fir a drink at 10.40pm but the bar was closed. Possibly due to a Wedding Function on the next day.... ?"

"This was a lovely find, the rooms and the restaurant were lovely and so reasonable in comparison to the big hotels and city hotels that are fairly close by. "

"Absolutely beautiful hotel in such gorgeous surroundings. From the drive up to the car park, the walk through the walled gardens to the elegant reception hall everything blew us away. Then we got to the room and once again our expectations were met and exceeded. What a beautiful room we had (304). Sumptuous bedding on what could only be described as huge and lovely decor throughout. All staff were amazingly attentive and enthusiastic. Beautiful food on the brassiere and then had some time in the wine cellar bar. Breakfast was the finishing touch to the night away and again was incredibly delicious."
