"Lovely new boutique hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Lake Tekapo is a small town with limited eating options but the dining is very good. We were unlucky with the stars as it was an overcast but the sunrise more than made up for it!"

"We got upgraded to the Hermitage because of limited capacity during winter season. It was a nice upgrade in terms of us getting complimentary breakfast but it also meant that we could not cook our own food. There was no kitchenette at the Hermitage. The Hermitage was an old hotel and honestly has seen better days. It is dated but at least it is clean. Breakfast spread was great too."
