Lake Ruataniwha Holiday Park was a great choice for our family. The kids had a blast playing in the playground with other kids and exploring the park grounds and the lake. We were surprised by the Rosehip cottage in the best way. The cottage is very spacious with two separate bedrooms, a generous size bathroom and the washing machine was very convenient. We’d definitely stay again and recommend to anyone.

The property was clean, with good facilities, friendly staff, and a beautiful area. What we didn’t like was the overall campsite, which in some parts looked like a construction site.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Our room - Tekapo - had 2 rooms, one with a larger bed and the other much smaller room with a bunk bed. The space was small but cosy. We appreciated the play area of the kids and the lake is a short walk away.

Cute and quiet accommodation. I had a decent sized cabin all to myself. Washrooms were well serviced, and they offer you a box with kitchen supplies upon check in. I liked that my cabin had a fridge and kettle.

We stayed here for one night and had a great experience. The beds were very comfortable, clean and the space was big and spacious with a lovely view from inside. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which made us feel right at home, the area has good restaurents as well, We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it!

We had Rosehip Cottage, a self contained holiday house. The washer was a big plus. Convenient parking, quiet, clean and spacious. Comfy beds. The property is outside the town of Twizel, a 5 minute drive. We found the wi-fi a little slow.

We stayed in one of the cubes and it was perfect for the three of us (2 kids, 1 adult). Very close to the kitchen and bathrooms. The only thing I would add is a bigger fridge in the kitchen!

The lake is beautiful but no view from cabin 1 which is at the back of the park. It’s about a 5-10 minute stroll to the lake from the cabin. The amenities were clean but having works done with no signage or notification. The shared kitchen was clean and spacious.
