"Nice location on the hill with views of the ocean and mountains. Nice onsen on the roof with a nice deck as well for relaxing. No elevator which was fine for us but might be an issue if you have mobility issues. Staff very friendly and accomdating."

Wifi connection was excellent as well. It would've been even better if the kitchen had water views. "A good place to stay and relax. Only down side is that there are some communication barriers since I don't speak Japanese and the staff doesn't really speak English, but they did try their best to communicate with you, things like prepared cards and using translation app on their cell phone."
"We hughly enjoyed our stay. The room and bathhroom were spacious and the staff went out of their way to make us comfortable, including preparing our room early. It is about a 20 min walk (uphill) from the town, so you may want to rent a car or be prepared to take taxis to and from. "

"It’s a lovely luxury vacation resort. Beautiful, well equipped. Shower is very powerful (not all hotels have that). Outdoor Onsen bath per room with sea view is the best.
All staffs are very nice and helpful.
The spa is superb too. We did facial and body massage. Totally relaxed.

One recommendation: breakfast is limited to Japanese style only. It would be great if the hotel can offer Japanese style and western style.
We have been to karaku Hakone. The KARAKU Hakone offers both western and Japanese style breakfast. "
