The room itself is amazing. It looks like a modern apartment which we loved. The only thing for us is the area it is in as it seems unsafe walking around especially in the evening. There's currently construction near the building so there might be some noise.

The stay was excellent. The room was super clean and spacious. All the workers were very friendly. Just a downtown area itself Be kind of iffy sometimes. But the hotel itself is excellent.

The Haas is in a not great neighborhood. The only parking is a sketchy parking garage across the street. Limited food options, all requiring walking in the unsafe-seeming neighborhood. They still have not refunded my deposit almost five days later. No manager on-site. Would not return. Not an “8.8”, maybe a 3.8.

Very convenient location with within walking distance of metro and other public transport. Walking distance to a lot of great sights within the city. The actual location though had a lot of vagrants within the area. Would not recommend walking around at night alone.

The apartment is really large, clean, very well kept and equipped, and in downtown LA where, as any downtown large city, there will be noise - that is unavoidable. There is pay parking across the street which is reasonably priced when compared to other pay parking in LA. I recommend the Haas.
