The rooms were okay. They smelled like fresh paint but obvious wear to wall was still there ( missing paint, chips/holes in the walls). The bathroom was the worst. The floors were dirty, the tub still had hair in it, chips in the walls, and obvious mold spots on the roof. On the good side, the AC worked really well and the beds were very comfy. Overall, if you need a cheap place to stay its okay. Its decently convenient for con goers or if you want to eat nearby good food.

Meh. The room was pretty big though, huge closet. But one of the towels was stained. The iron didn't work. And there's no cable, just local TV- like 5 channels that were all Spanish/religious. There's no nightstand lamp. No light next to bed and no phone to call front desk. No coffee in room. Felt like cheap motel. HOWEVER, FREE PARKING MADE UP FOR IT.

Hometel was a very solid, basic hotel overall. Some things that stood out were the mini fridge that also had a crisper and a very good separate freezer, a large closet to hang your clothes, and a microwave in the hallway that guests on your floor could share. There were also two available parking lots for guests, one above ground and one below ground. This was extremely helpful while staying in LA. Also, the hotel was in an excellent location in K-Town. I would definitely stay here again. Some small things I would improve would be to make sure extra rolls of toilet paper were available in the room, that a hand towel and wash clothes were provided, and that a smart TV was available in the room. Other than those things, I would definitely recommend staying here especially if you want to be in the middle of K-Town. So many good restaurants and shopping areas were easily accessible by foot. Also, the staff was kind and friendly. Will be coming back.

This is my second time staying here for a solo trip. Love the location and the fact there is plenty of parking. The staff is very helpful and it is nice to have a restaurant onsite as well.

Got a two rooms double queen beds each with nice city views neighborhood was acceptable for the price point tons of delicious walkable restaurants near by including ones that are attached neighborhood gets sketchy after 11 but absolutely worth it didn’t have a problem with parking they had small two floors for parking air conditioner was great beds were very comfortable room smelt stale b it went away when we turn on the ac no deposit was taken now of our rooms had a walk closet the other didn’t have that and the shower curtain fell when we used it overall good place to stay if your on a budget with lots of people

The hotel is in a very convenient location. On the ground floor there are an excellent cafe and a family-run Korean restaurant. The check-in process was seamless and the staff were very nice. The beds were comfortable. My biggest concern was with the maintenance of the building. The door of our room stuck badly enough that at first I thought the key wasn't working. The air conditioner kept the room comfortable but had mold growing in the vent. The carpets in the hallways were in need of cleaning.
