We had to walk 2 blocks to pick up the key, directions weren't clear but once we located the key everything was smooth sailing.

Internally, very modern and clean. The small rear area to the rear where you park is a rubbish dump. And you do have to check in and out at the Crowne Plaza a quarter of a mile away.

Everything was perfect. But the person who give us key for the apartment in crown plaza hotel, he didn’t mention the property entrance has code to open the door, the manual keys we have it even not working to open the door. After wasting 10min at door late night , I go back to crown plaza to mention issue and he mention the code is in key ring . So the issue sort out but if he mention at the time of handing over keys it’s really save our time.

Biggest issue is the two single rooms can't lock their patio doors. While I concede the patio is below ground level and would be hard to reach it still means the appartment is accessible from the outside and leaves people in those rooms nervous. I contacted the host during the stay and got no response about this. The overall cost of the room (given it has 3 bedrooms) is reasonable.

Parking is available around the backnof the property and you can park on the street and within the public parking area too. The fridge needed a clean but literally a wipe around. The apartment was spacious enough and had everything we needed including towels, bedding etc. It's a bit tired around the edges in terms of needing a paint over and some tlc. The shower was powerful but the room itself needed some attention to tidy it up in terms of the decor. The apartment was extremely hot and even with the fans it was difficult to stay indoors. The carpark which we looked directly onto was in need of a good sweep and tidy up. The location was great with restaurants and pubs all within walking distance and very quiet at night too.

We did not stay. The back of the "apartment" complex looked like a third world ghetto. Overflowing dumpsters, trash on the ground, bad smells. The apartment itself seemed reasonably nice, but we could not abide with the trash outside. Very bad vibes. We attempted to switch to the Crowne hotel which ran these apartments, but they were booked up. Of course, no refund was even contemplated .

Disgusting property and not clean at all. Main door to the property did also not lock. We did not stay at the property due to the state that it was in. After contacting them straight away, I received a response asking how I would like to be compensated. I have requested a full refund due to not staying more than 30 minutes at the property and having to book a last minute hotel in the area with our small children. I have still not received a response to multiples or a refund. I will be reporting this further.

Apartment smelt damp, no sharp knives to cut and prepare food, 1 mug in cupboard, odd sets of cutlery, oven dirty, car park no spaces had to pay, car park was full of rubbish, old mattresses and skips. Nothing like photos

The apartment was bejou and clean. The photos made it look a bit larger. But it was fine for our stay anyway . The car park for the apartments is small. There is a low cost public car park over the road though. Which is handy.

Far and away the worst place I have stayed in years. The car park is full of trash, the back door was propped open to allow anyone in, the apartment had a modern bathroom but the main room furniture and floor need replacing. The glassware was dirty.

Pros: easy check-in process. Good location, 15mins away from Chessington (the reason for our stay). Lovely pubs and restaurants nearby (particularly the Albany and the ferry). Cheap public parking behind the building. (up to £4 per day which for anywhere in the UK these days seems unheard of). Cons: very hot in the apartment with ineffective fans provided (we luckily brought our own). Note that the host does say that air-conditioning isn't available. Unpleasant odour through the apartment seemingly from the drainage. Black mould around windows and blinds in kitchen area. Uncomfortable sofa bed. Tired looking furniture and flooring. Heavy traffic noise on Portsmouth Road (obviously not property's fault but does negatively affect the experience). Overall: Was manageable for the 3 nights given that the purpose of the stay was for sleeping. Unfortunately would not be staying again.

Shower door was missing, only 3 towels despite being 4 of us, missing cutlery and general cleanliness not great, parking was shocking got blocked in, fire protection was poor fire door propped open on hallways, and front and back doors wide open!

Apartment was spacious. Shower door didn't seem like it had been cleaned from previously. Despite floor may have looked clean, up close you could tell it needed a good scrub. Had a pleasant stay it had done the job we needed a good sleep. Bed sheets were clean.

They left us outside the property in the blistering heat for 25 minutes with young children whilst finding someone with the key. They then took us into the wrong apartment. Eventually we got to our apartment and there was small pieces of broken glass on the floor, small bits of food in the fridge and generally not very clean. There was also no bedding for the sofa bed.

Following my stay, there were not enough towels for the 5 occupants in the apartment. The parking situation was very poor. It was not made clear the parking opposite was charged even though I specifically asked. There was zero availability in the carpark next to the building. The apartment was clean and well maintained. The pictures when booking are very misleading as the place is much smaller than you would expect. If anything I would like some compensation due to the extra parking I was having to pay per day. Thanks

The apartment done the job for 1 night stay for 5 adults , but definitely couldn’t do a short break here . The TV didn’t work , no signal. Internet was also poor again no signal . One of the chairs the leg was very loose unsafe to sit on , and had been just rested against the small table under the TV Air/Fan cooling towers in the apartment were dirty and smelly when in use . The key didn’t open the outside door I had to ring for assistance, he then told me it was a code to get in , which had never been mentioned at check in. Plus side the beds were comfortable, with nice clean fresh bedding, also clean towels. The apartments are also part residential, look a bit untidy from the outside , there was parking provided at the back of the apartments which accommodates 10 cars free of charge on a first come first serve basis, however the staff at the Crown Plaza where you check in and pick up the keys , did say we could park at the hotel for free if the car park was full . There was complimentary tea, coffee, biscuits, and shower gel which was a nice touch.
