"My first time in a pod hotel, I was travelling solo for a concert in London and at £60 I didn’t question it. However I was very pleased with my stay, I arrived at the hotel, which you cannot gain entry for without your QR code so immediately felt very safe. Once inside i was early but had a WhatsApp upon use of my code to say my room was ready. So I dropped my bag and left for the concert. I came back and I asked the staff how to locate my room and he was super helpful. I grabbed a packet of crisps, drink and protein bar from the Huddle area for a little over £6 which for London prices is incredible ! The pod it self is just that a pod, nice temperature space of your backpack and shoes and enough room to sit up in. I went for a lower nest so had to crawl in and out but again £60 I wasn’t complaining. Also you cannot get access to your hall or pod without the QR code so again I felt very safe !. The bed was comfy and you don’t hear noise from around you so I slept great . Could have done with a firmer pillow but that’s preference. It is in a great location in the centre of Soho and honestly I can’t find much wrong with it !"
"Helpful staff, great location, very close to both Queen Square and Baker Street station.
Comfortable, spotless room. Although no aircon in the rooms, there was a good large fan in the wardrobe which worked fine.
Breakfast was delicious, although expensive (£17.50 on the door). It's as much as you can eat (definitely worth it, especially if you can get a deal when you book the room).
I will definitely stay here again, and recommend it to anyone."
"It was my wife’s 72nd birthday celebration so we spent Saturday night at the Strand Palace. The whole weekend was wonderful especially because the hotel presented my wife with a birthday card, chocolates a balloon in the shape of “72” and other freebies. The staff and the service in general was excellent. We had a drink on the house in the bar… I felt the hotel went above and beyond. I would definitely recommend."
