Great location. Small room but good for 1 person. The smell of the sewer system was coming through the drains but i think this was because when i visited it was a busy time in the city? This didnt make mybstay as pleasant but otherwise it was ok

The service staff was great. The building and rooms are pretty dated. The location is excellent right next to Paddington and the Heathrow Express Unfortunately while we were staying at hotel there was a massive altercation outside the hotel which resulted in the police being summoned. It was very uncomfortable. The next day 2 men stopped us outside the hotel and tried to pull a fake passport scam on us.

The small room was clean, nicely kept, and had everything I needed for a budget single-night stay close to Paddington Station. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. I felt very safe. No issues at all

I had the top floor which was the hottest floor. I could feel the temperature rise as I climbed the stairs and it cooled down as I walked down. The team working the hotel were extremely kind and welcoming but general cleanliness was lacking. Don't get me wrong the bathroom was fresh and sparkled, the bedding was clean BUT the carpet in my room was peeling off and had cut out patches exposing very dirty areas and as my bed was next to the wall and window when I looked down lets just say I was thankful I didn't drop anything. I would stay there again but we can always improve. :)

Had a great one night stay. The hotel is in a great location close to Paddington station. We were on the third floor and as there is no lift it wouldn't be suitable for everyone. We were very grateful for the large fan as it was exceptional hot in London on the night we stayed. The room was clean and benefited from a new bathroom. Recommended and we would definately stay again.

Check in was very easy and we found it with ease from Paddington Station. We were on the 3rd floor which is actually 6 flights up and 60 stairs so that's your warning. Our room faced the street and we like to keep out window open so there were sirens each night as its near a hospital. The room was adequate for 2 ladies and we had twin beds. The bathroom was very tiny and we could not bend over in the shower, it was tight. There should be another flat surface for a 2nd suitcase even if its just a folding luggage rack. The mattress was very squishy and felt like i slept in a hole, it was not good for my back. We only slept in the room and for our one week trip it served its purpose and was close to everything we wanted to see.

I knew this was not a five star hotel and I just needed it for one night. The clerk checked us in and held our luggage until 3 PM and helped us carry it up the stairs, which we really appreciate appreciated. Location was great for coming off of Paddington station. The pillows and bed were excellent.
