「Really nice property and very helpful staff. Area around the hotel is pretty, with lots of places to sit and watch the geese. Rooms are okay--be sure to get a "suite" or a double, as the single rooms are very small. Bathing facilities are pretty rudimentary--could use a shower seat or a bathtub. "Breakfast" is weak coffee and orange or apple juice.」

「As always, when in this area of CT. I stay at the Lamplighter. Close to the highway, easy walking distance to numerous restaurants. Always very clean, everything works and i did notice the new beds in my room, which were super comfortable. Extremely nice rooms for the price, with fridge and microwave. Shower, instant hot water and plenty of it. I love staying at the Lamplighter. 」

「Best breakfast. The little things that were provided (warm bathroom towels, comfortable bed, patio outside our room just for us to enjoy) added to our wonderful 3 day get away in Madison. Don't want to forget the freshly made popcorn in the evening we so enjoyed. 」
